Corporate Chef Joel Tanner elected Grand Commander

Odenton, MD – July 6, 2016 — KeyImpact is proud to announce that Corporate Chef Joel Tanner was elected to serve as Grand Commander of The Honorable Order of the Golden Toque at the Order’s 54th Annual Meeting in June.
“It is an honor to be selected as a member of the Golden Toque, and to be elected as their Grand Commander is a lifelong dream” said Tanner. “To follow in the footsteps of the past Grand Commander and keep the original standards of the order in place will be my goal.”
The Honorable Order is the highest recognition a chef can receive in the United States. It was established to recognize skillful chefs who have executive chef experience of at least 20 years, have achieved professional accomplishments, have an interest in professional progress and are devoted to the culinary profession and arts.
Joel Tanner, Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.), has worked in the Foodservice Industry for over 40 years. He attended the Culinary Institute of America and has been a Restaurant, Club and Catering Chef. Throughout his career, Joel has also worked as a Corporate Chef at major Manufacturers and Distributors.
